What are your office hours?
The office is open Monday - Friday 9am-3pm. If you reach our voice mail, please leave a message as it is checked often and calls are returned same or next day. Email is the best way to reach us after hours.
How much does it cost?
Our subscription boxes range in price starting at $11. There is a one time set-up fee of $15 that will be applied to your first billing. Cooler boxes can be purchased for $30 or you may use your own cooler (minimum size is 28 quart).
What's in each box?
We have some pre-designed boxes (harvest box, farm box, garden box) that have a combination of fixed items and rotating items. All boxes feature a delicious tray of microgreens as well as our two rotating lettuce items. These rotating lettuce items will be the two items that are growing best in the greenhouse at that moment and they will change from week to week. In addition to the two rotating items, the harvest box will come with our meslcun mix each week, the farm box will come with our farm fresh eggs every week and the garden box with our ripe red tomatoes each week.
We also can do a custom box for you filled with any combination of the items that grow and sell. It’s a really popular option for customers, and we can deliver you everything you need to eat fresh and healthy for the entire week!
Is there a minimum order?
Orders must be a minimum of $11.
What products do you deliver?
The cornerstone of what we grow and sell is our beyond-organic, sustainably-grown, pesticide free, and GMO-free lettuces, greens, and herbs. We also have incredible hydroponic vine ripe tomatoes and cucumbers, locally baked bread, farm fresh eggs, ripe avocados, custom blended vinaigrettes and some absolutely amazing house made mozzarella cheese!

What areas do you deliver to?
Currently we deliver to most of the Hampton Roads from Smithfield to Virginia Beach, and from Hickory up to Williamsburg. If you are unsure if you are in our delivery area, please give us a call, send us an email, or check your address on the front page of our website, where you can confirm that you are in our delivery range.
What if I'm not in your delivery area?
If you're not in our delivery area, we might be able to deliver to your workplace if that is in our delivery area, or maybe to the home of a friend/family member. If neither of these are options, don't fret! Our delivery areas are expanding frequently so it's likely we may be delivering to your area soon! To be added to our waiting list, please give us a call. We will contact you as soon as we open your area for delivery.
Where does the produce come from?
Most of our items come from our greenhouse farm right here in Suffolk! To offer a diversified menu of local and premium products we have also created partnerships with other local farms and worked to bring in a limited number of product that cannot be produced locally. For example, our olive oils and vinegars come from Italy and California, because there is no source of Virginia grown olive oil. Likewise, with the Avacados. However, all of our lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, eggs, breads and cheese come from either our farm or from local farm partners.
What if I want to change my order?
You can change your order as often as you like. Order changes must be made before the order window closes, which is 48 hours prior to delivery.
You can mange your orders directly through our website any time before your cut off day by logging in with your username and password given at sign up. Please note that order changes include “Skip Delivery” or vacation holds. Click on the tab that says, "Going On Vacation?" to skip deliveries.
The office staff is happy to process your order changes for you via phone or email if you have any questions or difficulty doing so yourself.
What if I'm not going to be home to receive my delivery?
It's not necessary to be home to receive your delivery as we make your delivery right to your front door in a cooler. You can either purchase a cooler box from us for $30 or use your own cooler. Each delivery includes frozen ice packs to keep your greens cool until you arrive home. Please leave the freezer packs brought to you by the farm inside the cooler at all times so that the driver can take them and replace them with fresh frozen packs on your next delivery.
We are happy to accommodate any special delivery instructions for your box placement, just let us know.
What if I forget to leave my cooler box and ice packs out?
Not a problem! We will deliver your order in an insulated bag with freezer packs. The bags and ice packs are a costly overhead item for us so we ask that you leave them in your box the following week for the driver to collect and our re-use.
A deposit of $5 per bag and/or $5 per icepack will be charged to your account for any bag/icepacks that are left on loan. When you return them to us in any of the following weeks we will credit the full amount right back to your account.
What do I do with the cooler box and ice pack?
The cooler box is weather proof so you can leave it outside all year long! We do suggest you keep it somewhere out of direct sunlight so your greens stay cool. If you do choose to bring the box inside, please make sure to put it back outside on the day of your delivery. We send an e-reminder the day before delivery to help ;)
What happens on hot summer days?
Our cooler boxes are heavily insulated. However for best results, please try to leave your box in shade to help protect your delivery in sunny hot weather months. We deliver your greens with a frozen ice pack each delivery to ensure they stay fresh until you return home.
We also recommend that you leave some loose ice from your freezer or additional personal ice packs if you are going to be gone from your house for longer than the typical 8 hour workday or if the day is going to be above 75 degrees Fahrenheit.
What should I do with my plastic clamshells?
Reuse or recycle them! They make great containers for all kinds of things. Our clamshells are composed of #1 post-consumer recycled plastic.
What if I live in an apartment, condo, gated community or secure building?
We have many customers who live in these homes and strive to find a working solution for deliveries. In most instances, we are able to have access to the building from the site management. There are instances though where we cannot make deliveries to controlled access locations and if that is the case we are happy to try and work out a different delivery option for you.
What do I do if I need to skip a delivery for any reason?
Going on vacation, business trip, whatever? No problem! Just log in to your account before the order window closes on Sunday at midnight and select "Skip Deliveries." Enter the date range during which you don't want to receive deliveries and save. (Please note, you must set this up prior to the order window closing at midnight Sunday for the delivery you want to skip).
What if I want to cancel?
You're never going to want to cancel because these greens and lettuces are the best food you can eat! But in some cases it can't be helped and have never required contract or cancelation fees from any of our customers. You may cancel at any time by calling our office at 757-809-3577 or email us at email@example.com. Please note-cancellations must be made before the order window closes each week.
When do I get my first delivery?
The date of your first delivery depends on in what area you live and when your customer profile is completed with an order selection. Your first delivery is generally during the first week after you complete your profile, however you can choose to start your delivery later. When you place your order, you will be given a choice of the next three available delivery dates for your area.
What time will my delivery arrive?
Unfortunately, due to the nature of traffic we can't guarantee a delivery time, however we do complete deliveries by 6pm. The good news is that your delivery will come around the same time every week once we get you on the route. Delivery time depends on two things: 1) the length of your route. Some routes have more subscribers than others; and 2) what number you are on the route.
What if I refer your service to someone else?
For every person that subscribes and puts your name in the Referred By box on their customer profile, you will receive a $5 credit to your account! Please remind your friends and family to put your first and last name in the "Referred By" section of the customer profile page so you will receive credit.
